2011 Pre-pricing Service
Millcreek Gardens LLC offers a Pre-pricing service for our retail garden center customers, in addition to our BARCODED plant tags. With this service, we will apply pre-printed stake labels or pre-printed stickers to your orders before shipment. The benefit for the garden center customer is that the pre-priced plants may be placed directly onto the sales benches from our delivery truck, with no extra time needed for pricing. This service will also free employees at the garden center from having to price the plants, thus enabling them to tend to other tasks.
If you bar-code scan your merchandise at check out, please consider that our Plant Identification picture tags already contain a unique barcode. We will be happy to provide you with an Excel spreadsheet with plant names and SKU’s so you may easily update your scanning system.
You must notify us that you want to utilize our Pre-pricing
Service when placing your order.
You must provide the pre-printed labels to us well in advance
of your shipment, and provide your retail pricing corresponding to our price
codes. We will store the labels, and provide notification when inventories
are low.
If using pre-printed stickers, we recommend the use of "All Weather" stickers. These stickers attach to the pots much better than other stickers when moisture is present. The price for the Pre-pricing Service is charged per pot.
For Stake Labels applied to any of our pots, the charge is $.12 per pot.
For Stickers applied to our 1-Gallon Impact Perennials, 1.6 Gallon Perennials and 2-Gallon Grasses, the charge is $.12 per pot.
For Stickers applied to any pots in flats, the
charge is $.18 per pot.
We calculate the total cost for pre-pricing the shipment by
multiplying the number of pots labeled on the order by the applicable
pre-pricing charge. This charge will be noted on the Invoice as "Pre-pricing
Service". Quantity discounts do not apply to the Pre-pricing Service.
When providing the Pre-pricing Service, we will do our utmost
to assure that the proper labels will be on the plants. However, we cannot
be liable for any amount greater than the Pre-pricing Service charge on that
invoice if the incorrect labels are applied.
The Pre-pricing Service charge will be in addition to any
other Special Handling Charges that may also apply, such as charges for
broken flats, turning pots in the flat, etc.
